The Diary Game: Business Runs And Family Duties 24-02-2026

Hello, ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it's your friend @joychi102 and I want to share how my day was. Forgive me, I was to share this yesterday but house chores and tiredness couldn't let me do it.

Earlier today, I was at the shop to attend to my customers, my husband bought bread from the bakery so I was the one arranging them so that he will go back home and have his bath and go to his own shop. When I finished arranging the bread, I sold one for a customer and I packed the remaining things outside.

When morning work was done, I stayed and attended to my students, I am even thinking how the street will be like when these students go back home after this their coming examination. Since my business is located in a student environment, anytime students take thier exams, I am always scared.

Every Monday, I always take time to clean the shop, that was what in did today's afternoon, I had to make sure everything was clean and neat and the drinks were properly stacked in the fridge. So, when my kids came back from school, I gave them key to go back home and eat then prepare to come and join me in the shop. After that, checked the cloth my seamstress neighbor sewed but the one they sample didn't size me.

My husband called me later and told me that a supplier will be coming to supply us sachet water so I should use the cash we made sales during the day and pay for the sachet water, I told him no problems and then when the guy brought the sachet water, he offloaded them into the shop and I paid him.

In the evening, when my kids came back from their extra classes, they came to the shop so that we will go back home together. We stayed till evening and then my husband closed from his own shop and came to take over from me over here. I took this selfie then he told us to go back home and cook.

I took a tuber of yam from the shop and we went back home, we had eggs at home so what I prepared was boiled yam and fried egg. So, when I finished cooking, we ate but my husband was not back and I was hungry, that was why I ate with the kids.

I kept my husband's own at the dining for him, when he came back home, I gave him the food and he ate, after he finished eating, I packed the plates and we had out bath.
