MY DAIRY GAME:20/09/2026-why going to church still matters to me
Hello steemit family, wellcome to my today's episode of the my dairy game. So on today's episode I will be sharing with us how I'm so blessed to attend a Sunday service that change some narrative in my life.
So I woke up today early in they morning as early as 6:00am , because we were having a compound meeting.its a rented house ,so you know,we have to address some issues once a while ,so that we can leave happily,so I woke up that early we did they meeting an it last for 1 hour
So after they meeting,I quickly rush and took my bath then dress up ,and was set for church service,thou I wanted to wear native but something just came to my mind and I end up wearing a jeans trouser and a white long sleeve.
So I rush down to church I think by 9:00am already,so they service began,they singing agencies sing some sweet and wonderful well meaning songs ,they congregation was really blessed by they songs ministered, especially from they women fellowship coir.
So after the ministration,one of the sister's from they church is having her send forth prayer today ,she didn't pland on making it a big event,so she just arrange with they church pastor and they board of elders that ,they church will pray for her during Sunday service,so when it's time she step forward and kneel down,then we all pourd our blessings and prayers on her .
So immediately after they send forth prayer,then it was time for offering,we all match out with our offering,well put in an envelope,to present on to God to show appreciation to him an also for they work of they kingdom.
So when we done ,with they offering,they pastor step on they alter for sermon.he prayed and ask for they guidance of they spirit of God ,then he told us to open in to they book of( luke chapter 18 from verses 9-14) Where Jesus is talking about they pharisees,this book make me to understand that ,when you humble yourself God is going to bless you, they pharisees stood and praise himself that he is leaving without sin.then they tax collector ask God for mercy truly from his heart, we got to understand that Jesus said they tax collector went home as a blessed man .
So I sat down and got to think deeply that sometimes,we don't see they blessing's of God in our lives , because,we stand to take praises which are for God ,and we feel like we are without sin.we always allowed pride to take over us .
So they one lesson I learned in today's worship is God doesn't want pride,he wants a humble heart,no matter who you are ,no matter your position in life ,just be humble and God will Bless you , remember what they said ( pride come before downfall).
