My last Sunday outing for The People's Cup Tournament.
It was on Sunday, December 14th. I had the privilege of joining Engr. Sunday Emmanson, fondly known as Emmacoal, to grace the occasion of kickoff of this year's inter-village football tournament at the Ikot Ekpenyong venue in Mkpat Enin local government area.
The occasion was the highly anticipated 6th edition of The People's Cup, an annual inter-village football tournament designed to foster unity among the villages in Mkpat Enin.
As I arrived at the venue, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride knowing that I had played a significant role in the tournament's preparations.
I had designed, printed, and branded all the football materials, including the jerseys, flex banners, and backdrop for interview. It was a labour of love, and I was excited to see everything come together.

The atmosphere was electric as the crowd gathered to witness the opening match between God's Favour FC and Ekpenyong United. The teams took to the field, their colourful jerseys, red and the opposing side, blue, a testament to my design skills.
The referee blew the whistle, and the game was underway. The match was intense, with both teams displaying impressive skills and determination. The crowd cheered and chanted, urging their favourite teams on.

As the game neared its end, the score remained tied at 0-0. But in the 90th minute, God's Favour FC scored a stunning goal, securing a 1-0 victory over Ekpenyong United. The crowd erupted in cheers as God's Favour FC celebrated their hard-fought win. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, knowing that my contributions had helped make the tournament a success.

As I looked around at the sea of smiling faces, I knew that The People's Cup was more than just a football tournament, it was a celebration of community, unity, and the joy of the beautiful game.
Thank you for going through my post, do have a great time ahead.
