Me just waking up

Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of my dairy session, I still remain your humble @madoshi, i hope you all are doing great. Today I woke up feeling very hungry, the kind of hungry that gets you straight out of bed. I was up around 7am, The sun already pushing hard through the curtains, and the first thing on my mind wasn't prayer it was food. Church wasn't until later, so I had time to feed myself properly before facing the day. I pulled out my ingredients and laid them on my the plate like I was about to perform a little surgery; A pack of Indomie chicken flavor, some fresh ugu leaves, a handful of scotch bonnet peppers still hanging together like they didn't know they were about to meet their fate, a few ripe tomatoes, an egg, and an onion that had clearly been waiting patiently in my kitchen for its moment. Nothing fancy, nothing serious though just the classic Naija Sunday morning indomie combo.

Ingredients

I diced the onions first, my eyes protesting immediately that's the one part of cooking I never get used to. Then I chopped the tomatoes and peppers, threw them into cooking pot until the kitchen started smelling like something worth waking up for. Cracked the egg in, scrambled it into the mix, tossed in the shredded ugu leaves, and finally added the boiled noodles with the seasoning. A few minutes of stirring and tossing, and I had a full plate of loaded indomie noodles, veggies, and egg all tangled together in that beautiful chaotic way only indomie can pull off. I ate it standing in the kitchen, i almost missed Sunday service after eating because I was so full. But in my house missing Sunday service will cost you, so don't miss fellowshipping with God for anything what so ever

By 9:00am I was dressed and ready for service. Church service was awesome with the usual good music, a message that hit every corner of your body, heart and soul and the kind of fellowship that reminds you why you keep showing up even on the mornings you'd rather sleep in. I got back home from service feeling exhausted and just as I was about to rest my sister decided we were going to be making pounded yam for supper. This time I wasn't cooking but I had to do the pounding of the yam. Finally I had it with a rich egusi vegetable soup. The kind loaded with ground crayfish and spice that clings to the back of your throat in the best way. I sat on the floor with my plate of food and let it do its job. No fork needed for this one some meals just demand your hands.

By the time I finished I was satisfied and a little sleepy, the Sunday had done exactly what Sundays are supposed to do; So I fed my body, fed my spirit, and left me ready to face Monday with at least a little bit of peace.

It's been a pleasure sharing this with y'all until next time, take care and stay blessed. See y'all on the next one 😊😊
