Hello my dear steemians, welcome to another episode of my dairy session I still remain your humble @madoshi, i want to share with everyone how my day went. The morning started early, the way most important days do. The sky looking like it was going to rain through out the entire day, but thank God it later cleared up. I remember stepping outside and feeling the cold and knowing immediately that today was not an ordinary day. Today i was at a sport event in town my team and I had been looking forward to it for weeks.

On my way to the event

I took my bath and I headed out to meet the rest of the squad. By the time I arrived at the event, it was already packed full the whole place was already buzzing, and through the crowd I could still make out familiar faces. My teammates, all dressed in matching white and yellow jerseys, grinning, posing, throwing peace signs at every camera that came near. We took photos before anything even started. Some making peace gestures the other laughing so hard his whole face lit up. Then the rest of the crew gathered like five of us squeezed together, arms slung over shoulders, It felt less like a competition and more like a reunion of friends who happened to share a court.

At the event with my cousin

The event itself was everything we hoped for. we shouted encouragement at each other between plays, like the whole world was watching us play. By the time the games wrapped up, the sun had dipped, and exhaustion had fully set in. My legs were heavy, I started to feel cold and my stomach was growling louder than the crowd had been all afternoon. I said my goodbyes, promised to see everyone at training again soon, and made my way home, already dreaming of a proper meal.

Me and my squad

Of course, when I got home, the kitchen told a different story no food had been prepared. No stew simmering on the stove, no rice waiting patiently in a pot. Just an empty kitchen and a hungry, tired athlete. So I did what any resourceful person would do, i boiled a pot of spaghetti, chopped up tomatoes, onions, and a bit of pepper for that sharp, homemade kick, and let everything simmer together into a rich. Sitting down to eat that plate of spaghetti after such a long day felt like the perfect ending proof that even when the day doesn't go exactly as planned, you can still create something good with your own two hands.
