CREATIVE WRITING | THE PATHWAY OF INTIMACY

You know while working with believers as a youth leader and also a minister of the gospel, we hear a lot of things. And one of the things I hear believers say is; “Lord, put your love in my heart.”
There's a pathway through which we find love in the Kingdom of God, that pathway is called INTIMACY

Have you ever been in love before? Have you ever prayed that the love of someone enters your heart? I guess no! But most times you notice that even the person you hate, as soon as you begin to spend time with that person, loves springs up from nowhere.

I’m trying to show you that if you are truly in love, the world cannot seduce you.
There’s nothing anyone will tell you that will make you leave your God.
It’s because the economy of love was never explored.

Any man that has loved the Lord becomes foolish in the eyes of the world,
Because the decisions he makes are powered by that economy. The economy of love.

Love — you know what the Bible summarized God as?
It says, “God is Love.”

Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of men,
The things God has reserved for those who love Him.

There are few who truly love the Lord.
There are too many users of God, but only a few love Him.

And when God finds a person who loves Him, He becomes jealous about them. The jealousy of God is God's insurance system upon the life of a man. And this jealousy is not far fetched. This jealousy can be inputted on any man who engages into the activity of contemplating on the Laws of God.

As you are studying, as you are spending time praying, your heart becomes more attached to the object of your obsession.

At first, it starts as an instruction.
But as I told my mentees, a time will come, it will become organic. It is at that point the burden of God becomes personal to you.

Not too many love the Lord.
When love is formed in you, your capacity to overcome temptation is heightened.

When Jesus was saying, “The prince of this world cometh, and finds nothing in Me,”
He was saying, “There is nothing I have placed above the love for God.”
So, Satan cannot explore any affection in Me as something I will use to disobey God.

He brings anything versus God —
God wins.

Relationship versus God — God wins.
Career versus God — God wins.
Promotion versus God — God wins.
Children versus God — God wins.
Marriage versus God — God wins.

In that arena, there is nothing God cannot give you, because it will never take His place.

We enter love as we walk in intimacy.
As you spend time with God. The more you are beholding, the more you are spending time waiting on Him, spending time in prayer —
Love for Him is built.

So I am telling someone: you must start mechanically. You wouldn’t start loving to pray now. Prayer must first be regimented.

So start it like a timetable.
Bully your flesh against it.
Tell your flesh no!

A time will come; it’s not an alarm that will wake you up again.
Your body has acclimatized.
Once it is that hour, you will see your eyes open.

It means even your body has become engaged to the fraternity and you have struck a chord with the Spirit.
Don’t you know that these things I’m sharing are real experiences with people?
If you have kept a routine with the Spirit for a while,
Your body will adjust and become more accurate than the alarm.

It will wake up before the alarm — sometimes two minutes earlier. Your body has stirred you up and told you, it’s time for fellowship.
It means at this point, it has become organic.
You are desiring it.

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
The love of God is put in every believer's spirit.
If you are a believer and the love for God has dropped or is dead, pray this prayer with me.

Lord, reignite your love in my spirit! Give me strength to push through life challenges
