Passing The Stormy Stream
Here is my story...
Once upon a time during the farming season this year, a friend of mine who has a farm at another village wanted to get some cassava sticks which he harvested and sell.
I decided to go with him to his farm. On getting to the village, I parked my bike on house and we trolled into the bush. We reached at a particular location and I decided not to go any further with him to fetch the sticks. There was a massive stream in front of us and only careful and skillful people can pass through that water and get to the other. It was flowing with full force and I needed not to take such kind of risk.
He ventured a lone while I stayed back and watched. I had to wait for him for over 30 minutes before he got back with a bundle of cassava stick. After 10 minutes of waiting which he said he will be back, I was damn worried that something might have happened. But nothing actually happened to him. It is his forest and he is used to it!
