The Diary Game: Barbing My Hair And The Day's Hustle [19/02/2026]

Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, @megareigns. Today, I will be sharing how Wednesday has been, sorry I have been away, the electricity distribution company has refused to distribute electricity to household in this part of the state for over two days now and it's affecting me and my connectivity as well as my productivity.

In the morning, I woke up and the first thing on the menu was to go and barb my hair, I had been carrying a bushy hair for some while now and then at some point, I felt it was time to have a nice hair cut, so I left the house and had the hair cut. Luckily for me, my barber was in his shop so he barbed me the regular style and i came back home.

When I finished barbing, I paid for the service and then I went back home so I could go and eat. I don't know if I was to eat early or not but I wasn't hungry so I kept the food and then I bathed and went to where my work seat was so I could begin to work.

The power in my laptop didn't even take me up to 30 minutes and it went low, I had to take it to where I could charge it. When I charged it, I came back home to come and eat. Already, the weather was getting dark like it was going to rain but I didn't really care as long as I had taken my laptop to go and charge.

I prepared noodles to eat because I didn't want to eat the rice I had at home, I was reserving it for my dinner. When I finished cooking, I dished the food and began to eat. After eating for a while, I took my rest.

Worst of it is that my phone was down then so I was unable to do anything, I was totally handicapped yesterday that even the class I wanted to have with my students, I couldn't have it, I couldn't review their posts, I was so frustrated yesterday and was thinking of how to go about my day.

In the evening, I went to where I charged the laptop and unplugged it then I began to work, I also used the laptop to charge my phone as well, the laptop's battery was running low very fast. While working, my sister came to the house, she came to see me because I told her I wasn't feeling too well. She waited till I finished working then I went out with her to go drop her off.

When she left to her house, I came back to the house to come and share my diary but guess what? Yes, my phone switched off, I couldn't do anything so I left it like that hoping to pay and charge my phone today so I could work and come online on steemit.

Yesterday, I felt frustration and I know what it means to be frustrated. Basic amenities like electricity, we are not even enjoying, what then are we paying the tax for? Till my next diary, guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there. Much love from me to you all.
