The Diary Game: Spending My Entire Day In The Hospital/ Devastating Experience [03/2/2025]

Good day guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly. It's been a while since I did this due to how tight my corner has been these days but I am glad I am back.

I was still at home doing my normal chores when I had a call from my sister's husband, I was told that my sister was hospitalized and it was one of the most devastating thing I have ever heard in a while. I had to drop what I was doing there and ran to the hospital where she was being admitted. When I got there, I called my other sister that was with her and she directed me to the hospital pharmacy where she wanted to buy medication she would be injected so I went there and met her. I waited for her to be done then I went with her to the ward where my sister was.

Sadly, I was told I could snap any picture so I pocketed my phone and was with her. She had a premature labour and that was the reason she was hospitalized. My sister was going through serious pains, I felt for her because of how painful the thing was.

After staying for a while, it was time for her to be dressed and prepared her for the theatre where surgery would be done. We were asked to leave the ward so I left and went outside to go and stay under the tree where I began to pray for her to deliver safely.

I stayed there for like 4 hours and yet nobody called me to inform me if she had given birth or not. I had to go back inside and stayed. I met her son who wanted to see her, I took him and bought snacks for him so he would stop crying while we stayed together and took selfie.

When it was already evening and yet, I didn't see my sister, I went to meet the nurse and there she told me that my sister had given still birth. I was so pained to the core, tears almost ran down my cheeks but I held them back and then I went and met her. There was a problem, her placenta cut inside. The nurses there couldn't do anything and it was so annoying with the pains my sister was going through. I just sat there tired and frustrated.

We had to leave the hospital and transfered my sister to another hospital, where she would be given proper care and also the placenta removed. We went to Annua Hospital here in Uyo and then she was admitted. After she was admitted, I rushed to go buy something to eat because I was very hungry, since morning I couldn't eat so I bought rice and ate.

When I finished, I took my leave to the hospital, I stayed there into the night praying that my sister gets well soon. When I was informed that she was being stabilized, I was relieved then I went outside the hospital to stay and get fresh air.

When the surgery process was done, I took my leave and then I came back to the hospital with some items for my sister. Then by 12am in the morning, I returned back home, that was why I couldn't get to have a class with my students and also couldn't write.
