The Diary Game// Taking Time To Paint My Nails 💅 After Satisfying Meal (23-12-2025)

Yesterday was my day off from work, and I decided to make the most of it by taking care of my nails, especially my toenails, which had been neglected for a while 😅. But before I got to that, I started doing my domestic chores first.

I did laundry, mostly my work clothes because they were really dirty due to the dust around during this harmattan period. Before, I used to wash my work uniform once a week, but since harmattan started, I've been washing it every time I'm off. This harmattan's bringing heat, not cold, so I sweat a lot, and with the dusty environment, it makes the uniform get dirty often.

When I was done with the washing, I decided to grab a hearty meal of cornflakes and eggs before getting into painting my nails.

I know you might be wondering if I'm the only one who ate all that, lol 😂. Nope, my friend was around, so we ate together. I thought of having bread with the cornflakes, but he went for eggs. He explained that I need to eat eggs daily because eggs have about 7g of protein, vitamins A, D, and E, and roughly 75 calories (60 from the yolk, 15 from the white).

After the meal, I relaxed for a bit to let the food digest before I started painting my nails.

I used a cotton wool dipped in cleanser to clean my nails, removing all the dirt in between them, leaving them neat and ready for polish.

I took my time painting my nails nicely, 'cause with this festive period, anything can happen any time! I might get called out for a sit-out any day, and I don't want to look tatty and unkept, lol 😅. I finished up in no time, and my nails were looking so nice and lovely! I was blushing inside and out, I did a good job on myself.

If I had to go to a salon for a nail tech to do this, they'd charge me an outrageous price, especially close to Christmas. But thank God I can do these small things myself. And I had all the necessary stuff at home, which made it easy

I was gonna go for red nail polish, but I changed my mind - since Christmas is all about red, I went for navy blue instead, I just got the polish and fell in love with it after painting my nails.

After that, I picked up my phone and started fiddling with it, hopping from one app to another. I also mined some of my airdrops, there was a task to do on one of them, so I knocked it out yesterday.

I later stepped out to the market to grab some food items to cook. I did that, but before I could finish up and cook, it was already getting dark and I couldn't take any pics. After cooking, I ate a bit and refrigerated the rest. Then I freshened up with a cold bath and watched a movie on my phone till sleep came calling.
