The Diary Game: 17th May, 2026: When "GET A WIFE" hit harder than "PORTUGAL VS DR CONGO".

I walked home with rice on my head and pain in my heart hoping football ⚽ will heal the wound. PORTUGAL AND DR CONGO said "draw" and my day said "broken".

How it all started:

So actually Today I will gladly say I didn't wake up from sleep 💤, I stood up from sleep 🤣.
I was having a horrible nightmare about my neighbour and immediately I stood up went outside to check her.
I came back inside, brush my teeth, have my bath and went to work.

When I closed from work I came back home and decided to go to my area market to get rice and Maggi. When I got to the market, I went straight to my customer place and she was asking me how's my health and hope have recovered fully? And I replied her yeah but am still feeling weak somehow dho. We started engaging in conversations because she actually missed me so much. She was telling me on the need for me to get a wife and settle down atleast now that am sick, she will be of help alot, and Immediately I reminded her of my last relationship 5 years ago that ended because she actually knows her. We do come to get food stuff from her side when we were students. She was now saying I should try and move on and try luck again. Omo as she don dey talk about marriage matter too much.

I just Tell her say make she give me rice and Maggi I wan dey go House 🏠. Truth is I don't want to even hear anything about ladies, marriage or moving on because Omo I don't ever think I can trust any lady again in this life ajeh.

She packed the stuff for me and immediately I jacked my load and put it on my head sharp and I walked slowly back home 🏠. While I was walking back home I was just having deep thoughts because she made me start remembering alot of pains, hurt, break of trust and so on. But I had to try and get my mind off it.

Immediately I got home I drop my load and move to football hall centre so I can watch Portugal Vs Dr Congo match. All my thoughts was the match will make me happy 😊 but my expectations was wrong. The match ended in a draw and I was so sad more and more 😢. WHAT A DAY 😢. If you ever walked home heavier than you left this story is for you. Thanks for reading my heart today.
