The Diary Game; Attended First Sunday in January and Hanging out With Friends to Enjoy Our New Year//[4th January,2026]//

Attended First Sunday Service With my lovely Brother We Both looks so gorgeous 😍😍😍

Sunday was a special day to be in God's presence especially having made us cross over to the new year, it was an opportunity to tell him thank you for all the miracle, love peace he has bestow on us despite the challenges we face each day.
It was the very first Sunday of the year 2026 slated for thanksgiving, first communion for the year and welcome charge for the year by the senior minister.

Since the year began, I have personally made my new year resolution which one of them is to be going to church early have backslided by consistently going to church late which is not my usual thing but have decided this year to amend my ways and push myself towards going to church early enough, yeah, thank God it works right from the first Sunday of this year, I woke up around 6:30am sleep the compound warm the remaining food before I could brush and had my shower I quickly dress with my new year gown that was given to me through a friend and it fits me so well 🤓 🤓

So, I go to church with my brother and they were about doing procession and I quickly enter inside and remain calm, through out the service I didn't bring my phone out from my bag because I didn't want it to distract me, I needed to concentrate fully in every bit of the service which I need and I enjoyed every bit of it.
So, our general church theme for the year is "Grace Upon Grace" taken from John chapter 1 verses 16, these theme is what we are going to use throughout this year with other sub- theme that will be extracted from it.

The service took long since it was the first service the year and couple with the activities, it was dismiss by 2 pm and took a few pictures with my brother before we finally return back home

Immediately I return from church, I quickly change my dress because I agreed to hangout with my friends who came in from Porthacourt for the Christmas break so he insisted we should hangout before he travels back and only that Sunday was free for him as he had planned to travel the following day which was monday, before I could dress, I had search for a comfortable wear that will fit me, I even had to empty my bag but finally I settle with this particular one 👇👇

So, I went to their house and met them since they are siblings we gisted and laugh before moving to a sit out, yeah, they ordered barbecue and drinks and I felt loved.

We all ate while gisting and also watching match, it was a fun filled day. Its been so long I had such a hangout and I'm craving for more in this year.

It was evening around 7pm and my time was up, we exchange pleasantries as the dropped me off in a strategic location where I will board vehicle back home.
I got back home around 9 pm just rush to freshen up and jump on the bed, yeah, I called them to inform them I'm already in my house so that they will not get worried.

That was how I spend my Sunday from church to hangout.
