Hello everyone, welcome to today’s episode with yours truly, @odiwo. In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing with you how my Tuesday went. I woke up grateful to God for life, good health, and family, worshipped and studied my Bible. I quickly prepared for work, but unfortunately, it was raining. I waited for a little while, hoping the rain would stop, but it was still falling.

Since the rain wasn't stopping, I decided to go with my umbrella. I thank God we had umbrellas kept aside to use whenever it’s raining. You know, in Rivers State, Nigeria, rain falls almost every day during the rainy season. Having an umbrella and a car is a great advantage. But I only have my umbrella and my legs, so we move.

When I got to work today, I attended to some customers, but the highlight of my day was reading this book titled Opportunity Without Label by Rev. Patrick Onoidem. This book provokes the consciousness to open up to good opportunities that come our way, knowing that such opportunities can change our lives for the better. The author also went ahead to mention some people who missed their opportunities, like Queen Vashti, and the regret that follows those who miss their opportunities. He also mentioned those who saw opportunities and grabbed them, like Joseph, who seized the opportunity to use his gift of interpreting dreams for the king’s servants. One of them later recommended him to the king. Esther also obeyed every instruction her uncle gave her and seized the opportunity to join the other virgins who were taken to the king’s palace. She eventually became the queen.

This book really challenged me to be ready to grab opportunities once I have discerned that they are good. We don't need to figure everything out; we just need to allow God to lead us. The opportunities we grab today have a way of benefiting our families and even society.

When I got home, I went to the kitchen, selected the beans, brought out some ripe plantains, and started cooking. Before 7:50 p.m., I was done cooking. Now, it’s ready for consumption. Would you mind joining me?
