The Diary Game : My Activities at Work Place (9/1/2026)

Happy weekend from me to you. It's your regular writer, @okokon. I am happy to know that you have been reading my post. This has been my source of encouragement to continue to give you my daily activities. It has been long since I posted my last daily here. I think this is the first for this year, 2026. Wow! I am here to inform you how my activities at work place yesterday was. Please sit back and enjoy reading.
I began my daily routine as usual. After taking breakfast, I left for work. Since our resumption on Monday, it has been hectic at work place. Why? Resumption is a time to put plans on ground for the smooth term. As an English teacher, I had to write my lesson notes, draw my work plan for the term and gather teaching materials I will need for the term..
When I got to the school, I settled down for work. Since Monday, it has not been easy. The lady that used to teach English in the junior classes has left. The school asked me to please take over from her, pending when they will employ a substantive teacher. Therefore, combining teaching English in the senior classes and junior classes is not going to give room for a breathing space for me. But I took up the challenge.
I went to different classes to give them scheme of work for the term. The junior classes were excited that I will handle them in on English .They had wanted me to teach them English. By 12 noon, I was through with my teaching for the day. When I was relaxing, my two best students in my class brought me a gift. Marvellous and Mirabel are like my assistant in the class. I was so happy that they bought me two higher notes and two pens. Children can surprise you.
After school, I went home to refresh myself, change clothes and then went to get my birth certificate at the court. This certificate is important because I have lost my original birthday certificate so I had to swear affidavit in the court to get another one. When I was through at the court, I was certainly hungry. I branched a sit-out to get refreshed.
I took some times to relax there. I didn't have enough time to eat at home when I left home. When I was through, I branched a newspaper stand by the roadside to glance at some dailies.
I came back home by 4 pm. After relaxing for about two hours, I went to viewing center to watch the ongoing AFCON football match between Senegal and Mali. Although Senegal won by 1 vs 0, Mali played a better football. I returned by 8pm to relax with steemit.
