Hello, wonderful Steemians, and happy Sunday to you all. Today was titled "Enough is Enough Service" in church at Winners Chapel Oron. So early in the morning, I woke up and took my bath. I didn't wait to have my breakfast because it was too early, about 6am, and that's always my usual lifestyle on Sunday morning. So as I arrived at my church, everything was kept in place. Our call to worship was taken from Psalm 121:1-8, and other church activities took place, and then it was time for the word. The pastor who ministered today was Pastor Emmanuel Bomabebe, the assistant resident pastor, and he preached on a topic titled Engaging the Turnaround of Faith, Part 4. The text was taken from 1 Tim 3:9 and 1 Cor 2:5. And here is what I learned.

I learned that if we don't have faith in our work with God, our work will be hindered. Faith is a spiritual mystery, something you cannot explain and understand. Having faith makes you stand high in life. Faith is engaging with the power of God (Acts 14:9-10). With faith we can do something humanly possible.

I also learn that faith is not a religious ideology. Hebrews 11:11: Faith is putting God's words to work. Faith is not a principle nor a strategy to deceive people; faith is putting your trust in God for him to bring your desires to pass. It is not just to believe God but to obey him and to prove that we believe in him so as to commit him to confirm his word in our lives (Genesis 12:1). No man can fulfill destiny by sitting down; we only fulfill destiny by taking steps. When God asks you to do a thing and you delay, you will suffer the consequences (Exodus 14:15-30).

How powerful is faith?

Faith is the very substance of redemption (John 3:15, Hebrews 11). Faith is also a personal thing to have (you can't succeed in another man's faith; you can only join your faith to his faith). Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38. Faith provokes the healing that makes one hold Luke 8:40-48. Every great story is said by grace and through faith. Ephesians 2:8.

How then can we keep our faith growing?

To keep our faith growing One must have a deeper understanding of the truth (the word of God). The truth builds our faith. Reading the word of God every day builds our faith. 2 Timothy 2:15. Reading spirit-filled books and connecting to godly channels builds up our faith. Keying into the testimonies of others builds up our faith as well. Having a good conscience also makes our faith come alive.

Breakfast

After the powerful service today we all went home, and I decided to take my breakfast at past 9am. So after that, I started preparing my bags so I could travel to Eket to get a place to stay prior to the clinicals. On my way to Eket in the bus, I notice a broken lady crying in the taxi; she was so traumatized because she lost her brother today.

On my way to Eket.

She cried all through the ride. I felt very sorry for her; deep down I wept with her silently. Later on we arrived at my destination at Eket. So I went to check the accommodations in the school, and I realized that almost all my classmates had already arrived before me and space was limited, but I thank God that I was able to get a spot to stay. I started arranging my luggage, and when I was done, I ate snacks because I was too tired to cook, and then I began to write my diary.

Thank you for your valuable time.

Thank you for your support

The Bible defines faith to be a substance of things hope for and not seen, so faith is a mystery every believer should master.

I have learnt so much from you.
