The Diary Game: Back To School After Mid- term Break And Cooking Beans After School (1/6/2026)

Hello everyone, good evening and happy New month to you all. May it be a fruitful month to us. It's yours truly @prosper-1 once again and I bring to you how I spent my day.

Today I woke up feeling grateful for life and thanking God for ushering us into a new month. I said my prayers and freshened up for work. Honestly since Wednesday 27th May, we have been on holiday. The school authority added few days to it to make up the midterm break. So today we officially resumed back.

Surprisingly the learners didn't turn up much, only few came, others are still enjoying the holidays I guess. Well we had a progress with the ones that were available.

Only one learner came in my own class, but I had to make sure she had a wonderful experience because I taught her one on one.

After our classes I had a picture with her and also promised to get her a little gift as a positive reinforcement.

After school, I alighted at a shop to get some food stuffs, I bought rice, beans and garri. It was drizzling, I had to rush home real quick. When I got home I unpacked them.

I had already planned on cooking beans, so I measured four cups.

After sorting it out, I set my pot up on fire and, and proceeded with the cooking. I firstly parboiled the Beans, washed it thoroughly.

Shortly after I put it back up on fire, my gas finished, it was frustrating but I had no choice than to go out to fill it. Thankfully the gas refilling shop close by were opened so I went ahead to refill.

After refilling it, I rushed back home to finish the cooking. And within some short period of time I was through. And here is my delicious and sweet porridge beans.

Today was kind of hectic but overall, it was a fulfilled day. Thanks for Reading through 🌹.
