The Diary Game: A Day Well Spent At Home(16-01-2026)

Hello everyone, this is the step by step gist on how I spent my day at home today, woke up this morning to a sunny weather and the atmosphere was warm, sounds of bird, and children playing some crying cock crowing, open my curtain and smile, oh! What a beautiful day, I stepped outside the first thing that caught my attention was my flowers, they look so fresh so I watered them, saw one my neighbor and we exchange pleasantries, and I carry her little princess, the baby is so cute.

After playing with the baby I small drop her to play with her older siblings and I start my day fully, first of I went back inside dress my bed, sweep my room, arranged it because it was a bit scattered, select out my dirty clothes to wash since I won't be at home tomorrow been Saturday to do that, and today is my free lecture day which means I'm not going to school, so I can rest today since weekend have already,after arranging my room I went out to fetch water so I can wash the dirty clothes because we are having issues with light in our compound. I bought fries on my way for breakfast.

Reaching the first place no one was there, the second place, thankfully there was someone there to sell, but the crowd was something I couldn't bear, instead of me to wait for my turn I went home to sit for a while before going back there, on getting there again water have finish, ah! What a life, that was when I realize that for me to get water I will have to pay someone to bring it for me, I have no choice than to call the person that do supply me water in times like this, thank God he deliver and didn't disappoint, I was happy at last there is water, he helped me turn it into my drum till it was full.

After he left, I brought my dirty clothes outside start washing them, but this particular neighbor of mine came with gist, you know I like gist, she was telling about an incident that happened in my area few months ago, a girl was coming back from work when she was blocked by some men, that took her belongings and also raped her threatening to kill the girl if she shout, she was abandon on the road, but a good Samaritan saw her took her to the hospital, and she was treated, thankfully she just came to tell me that those men have been arrested by the police force, that serves them right they will pay for their sins.

By the time she was done with the gist , I was done washing too so I went to dry them, while drying the clothes I saw one of my neighbor's child playing orange as ball I joined him, because I love children and always want to play with them, I got tired of playing, I was sweating already, I went to the bathroom had my bath, because I was already uncomfortable with the sweating dress dress on a comfortable home wear, and enter the kitchen to wash my dishes.

Done doing the dishes stepped out to get something for lunch, but I stumbled on this pear and cassava our native food, I bought it, went home and enjoy my meal, done eating, I start doing my assignment, still on it when I doze off wake up late, and the first thing I saw nepa light, I was so happy, I iron my dress I will be using the next day because one of my course mate is saying I do to the love if her life, finish with that I had my dinner.
