The Diary Game: A Busy Day At Work And Preparing Oha Soup(22-12-2025)

This morning, I was already on the road going to work because this season is actually for us, customers here and there and I just have to attend to them, even if it's not all the customers but at least good number of them should be attended to.

As I got to work, my apprentice were already on a customer working on her hair and there were two more sitting and waiting to be attended to. I told them I had to settle the kids first before coming to work then I picked one customer and began to attend to her so that we can make the hair and finish on time.

In the afternoon, I was able to finish up the first customer's hair and though the design was complex, I still managed to get them done with so much ease and my customer was so happy I was able to do the design, she even added small money ontop the one we agreed on.

After that one, another customer came and asked for twist braiding, that was another job, so I split my apprentice, two helped me while the other two attended to the other customers that were there. We braided the hair from afternoon till evening and was able to finish by 4pm, though it was approaching 5pm. When we finished, I boiled water and made her girls and after that, I had to just rest.

While I was resting, another customer came in for normal short braids, I knew it won't take time so since my other apprentices were free, we all joined hands and withing 1 hour, we finished it and as a satisfied customer, she was so gracious for this and then she paid me and I had to compensate my apprentices for taking their time and then I gave them tokens for transport and also for their dinner.

I left the shop and went straight to the mini market and bought oha leaves then I went back home to prepare oha soup. That was going to be an easy food to prepare considering how tired I was today. After cooking, I dished it out for my kids and kept for my husband because he wasn't back when I was done cooking.

When I finished eating, I went to the parlour to stay and rest, my eyes were red due to stress, so away from my kids that were shouting in their room, I came to the parlour and sat on the couch to rest and also wait for my husband to come back home as it was getting late.

When my husband came back home, I showed him his food but he insisted I should eat with him and though I was full, I still had to eat with him so he will be able to eat and then he bathed and I joined him in the room. I want to sleep right now because I am so tired.
