Duty Calls
Hello Steemit, good morning to you all. Please share my day with me @sunhinediva. On this pretty day I had work to attend to as well as my classmate's marriage too, how will I achieve duo? Anyways I prepared myself for work, remember there are no kids to play with or bathe cause I'm still at my friends. I ate breakfast this morning ( the left over carrot rice and pepper soup) after my meal I set out to work first, all dressed in the uniform of the day.

I didn't take a shot at the office today I was just focused on getting the few things I needed to do done, so I could leave and join others. The worse part of this is that I'm the coordinator of the movement to the marriage, that means I need to get a coaster bus or two mini buses ready for the even before time, so there was a lot on my head. So I quickly checked the staff schedule for the day, we had a brief discussion and they got working. Next, I called my Boss to know if there was any thing he wanted me to do, and he said 'we have a lot to do today' and in my mind I was like, alot? How? I didn't bother telling my Boss about the marriage cause he wouldn't agree to it and since Taki is back I was sure she would cover I for me.
Boss then sent me a Whatsapp message to send two workers to one of the site so that the work could be faster, so I began calling and in no time I got the two persons, told them what to do and how to move to the site, and they did. Back in the office I sat waiting for Boss to come, but ofcourse I didn't sit idle, I started contacting the bus drivers I know although I did contact them before that day, but they weren't too sure of today, so I called and at last I was able to get two mini buses, so I told them the departure time and location of our departure.
Again I received a message from my Boss saying that the workers on a particular site should ensure they finish the work today, to this order I moved immediately to the site to check what has been done and what was left. When I got there, I realized that other workers such as the painters, electricians and others were still at the site doing their jobs, then I noticed why the job was prolonging, when they were done cleaning a room or living room, either the electrician or painter or others will go in to get one thing or the other done, thereby leaving the place dirty again. Nevertheless, with my presence rhee, we were able to manage the situation.
I spent about 2 hours there, then returned to the office and I updated my Boss about the site and how I was able to manage the situation. As I got to the office, it happened that he was driving out, on seeing me, he stopped and listened to what I had to say before leaving. It was already 2:30pm, our departure time for the event was 3: 00pm so I was glad he left when he did. The meeting point wasn't far from my work place, so I quickly touched my face wore my heel and bid Taki goodbye.
I got there just on time as the buses arrived the place just when I got there, I exchanged pleasantries with those that were there already and it was a great moment. Not two long and we were ready and left the spot, we got there and first we located where the bride was ( our course mate) immediately we saw her we hugged and congratulated her and also took some pictures with her.

Wahoooo! My course mate made a pretty bride , her smiles was all that mattered the moment and her dress complimented her skin glow. We sang, danced and took individual pictures with her, we didn't forget to wish her well and prayed for her.

We later went to the main event place to join others, and of course we ate, drank and danced and as former students, we did our usual and of course we were noticed lol. After the event we entered our buses and departed, it was night already, some dropped on the way why others got to the spot we departed from. From there I went home, had my bathe and fiddled with my phone as my girlfriend was yet to return. Thank you Steemians for engaging with your girl, I love you all🥳
