The Diary Game: Blowing Trumpet For The First Time In An Event ||26-12-2025||

So happy today, I literally tested out a new instrument I have been working on lately. My team members asked me to take over the playing of the trumpet yesterday. We went there so since I have been blowing it during rehearsals, I decided to do it like I should. I took it and then I began to blow it.

I did exceptionally well, just that there were some notes I couldn't score but then it's only the professionals that knew about it. I am still learning and with time I would get to master the art of playing it. After blowing the trumpet for some while, I went and took the bass guitar and began to play it. The MC was using us to catch cruise and it was fun because I know he was feeling all the vibe we brought to the event. The MC did a great job and I commend it for that.

He started the event quite early unlike some other mcs that would want to start the event in the evening time and be rushing people. So fast, just about 30 minutes into the event, the groom was asked to be brought to the event center. He was accompanied by group of friends and well wishers who came to the ceremony. They came in colourfully.

When the groom was brought, the bride was then brought, she was accompanied by well-wishers and also group of friends and the village women. It was such a beautiful scenery and I am also imagining myself doing this with my wife and well.

When the bride was brought, they came and had their traditionally rite, they exchanged their vows traditionally and also they received their blessings from their parents. I liked as everything was done in order. Maybe I will be recommending this Mc to other clients.

By 6pm, they were asked to cut their cake which was the last thing before the ceremony came to an end and it's always the peak of the event where people do wait for. The cake was traditionally inspired and I loved it, it blended it with the colour of the day.

When the event came to an end, food was shared to us, I took mine and told my members we should go because it was getting darker. We left the place after collecting our balance and then when we got back to the house, I called my members and forwarded their monies to them. Then after that, I took my dinner which was the rice they gave us. I took it outside and ate it because outside was brighter because of the street light.

When I finished eating, I went back inside and trashed the take-away then I took my bath before I put on the television and then watched it till I felt like sleeping so I shared about my 25th before going to bed.
