The Diary Game: I Have Been In The Hospital Since Monday ||13-01-2026||

Since Monday, I have been in the hospital with my sister, it's not been easy for her these days. I am praying she gets better so that we can all go back home and she gets back on her feet. My happiness right now is that she is getting better and her newborn is getting better as well. So, when I woke up, I went to the antenatal ward and saw pregnant women waiting to be attended to.

When I sat down there for a while, I went to the nearby restaurant so I could buy food for myself and for my sister. I ate my own there and bought another plate for my sister then I took it back to the hospital. When I got there, she was trying to take her bath.

After she finished bathing, I asked her to eat so that I could remove the drugs they gave to her and give her. When she finished the food I bought, I handed her water and gave her medication. She stayed up for some time before going back to sleep. I have been away from my workplace for two good days now and I am not even thinking I would be going on Tuesday.I went out to go and see what was going on, I saw these beautiful nurses cleaning up the hospital.

In the afternoon, I just had to rush and go to work so that I will attend to my customers who had been complaining that I have not been to work for days now. I wasn't sure if I was going but I later had to tell my sister to take care of herself as I would be back again to come see her in the evening.

My staffs were complaining that they didn't have cash for transactions, I told them to give me some time, then I went out and be looking for where to get cash from so that we will use it. Luckily for me, I was able to see cash then I took it to them and gave them. I took some cash to my shop and attended to customers.

I did not even wait for 5pm, I closed and went back home so I could have a good bath. When I reached back home, I fetched water and then I took my bath. When I finished bathing, I swept my living room and then I went back to the hospital.

When I got to the hospital, I went and stayed at the reception, I took the food I bought on my way to my sister, there I met her husband, I excused them and then I went outside to go and stay where I could get fresh air. I took a walk round the hospital.

In the evening, my in-law told me to go back home and rest that he was doing to stay with her. I appreciated him and went back home. I had a very good rest at home and then when I woke up by 11pm at night, I took my phone and shared my diary.
