The Diary Game: Playing In A Premium Event ||14-02-2026||

Hi friends, I had a gig on Saturday, a special one at that. I went to the place, infact, we had to camp here because it was going to be a two day event. I had to wear the uniform the deceased family gave us. To show you all how premium the event was, every unit that had part to play In the event were all given uniform to wear, courtesy the deceased family. I set up the sound system immediately we woke up.

More instruments were brought down from the bus while I was just setting up the sound. I had to take my time to set up the sound systems because if there was any faulty in the sound system, the blame will be on us and especially me that they contacted.

We played With everything in us, you could see the seriousness from everyone after the sound system was fixed and everything moved on smoothly. The sound engineer that we paid came and then he was the one handling the sound production.

If there was any point I loved was when we were able to make his son who is a State House member dance. He danced to the tunes we played. It was so great seeing something of that calibre dancing alongside with all other people that came for the funeral.

We did set up our own sound system in the church where the corpse was taken to. When the corpse was taken to the church where prayers were to be offered before finally being taken to the grave, some of our members here were asked to go to the church to play, I went with them while others were still at the funeral ground.

When the man was buried, we played for the very last time and then we did some final makosa and then we were invited inside to come and eat. I love the arrangement, nobody was left with being fed. I went inside after packing things to the bus we took to the place.

When I finished eating, I went to the hostel where we lodged to stay. I was so tired, my hands were paining me and we will have to still play on Sunday for their Thanksgiving service. It's not easy but we keep going as long as the money is paid.

When I took my bath and I left to go and charge my phone where their generator was running. I charged my phone and then I began to share my day so that I can go back and sleep.
