The Diary Game: Unable. To Go To Church Due To Distance/ Quality Time With Family 8/2/2026

Not going to church today wasn't really my fault, where they went for church service was very far and that location, motor bikes are not permitted to come there and so I was so unable to go to church with my bike, to pay transport for me and my family would be so costly, that was why I just better stayed at home and enjoy my time with my family.

I was the one babysitting our son so that my wife can cook our breakfast. This boy can really disturb especially now that he is no more breastfeeding. I have told him countless times that very soon, he will have another brother or sister, so he should disturb all he cared but when the time comes, someone else will be doing that.

When my finished cooking, she brought the food to the corridor and we sat there to eat, all of us. She cooked ogbono soup and that is the food you are seeing here.

After we finished eating, I took our son inside and then I bathed him. After bathing him, we went to the parlour and I told him to stay and wait for me so that I can bath and join him. When I bathed and finished, I joined him in the parlour and we watched cartoon together.

After church service, I told my wife we should go to her shop and see if there will be any sales, she said she thought I wouldn't ask of it. We left the house and when we got to her shop, I dropped my son, the boy began to disturb again. I just allowed him to do his work while I packed things out of the shop.

God heard our prayers today and He blessed us with sales. We made so much sales because other people didn't come to open their shops. We took that opportunity and we sold so many things today. My wife was outside playing games in her phone and enjoying herself while I was attending to customers. I know she likes it that I was helping her out.

By 6pm, we closed and went back home. My family went inside with my son while I stayed outside to just watch funny skits on my phone. I called my mother back in the village and asked how she is doing, she told me she is having pains on her waist, I know it's because she has been going to weeding.

So, I told her to give me sometime, then I sent money to the POS man that used to give her cash, I told her to pay someone so that they can do the job for her and not go to the farm again for now. Happy Sunday once again my steemit friends.
