I wouldn't say that either rich nor poor people are wiser than the other party.

Rich people usually have a certain set of knowledge and the willingness to apply said knowledge for their own advantage.

Poor people usually aren't poor by choice but still have to apply what they have in order to make the best out of the situation at hand.
