Introducing cur8.witness – Rebuilding the Future of Steem Together

We’re thrilled to announce that @cur8.witness is now live!
After months of building tools and contributing to the Steem ecosystem, we’re ready to take the next step and helping secure and grow the blockchain by becoming an active witness node.

Who We Are

cur8 was born as a curation project focused on discovering and rewarding quality content across the Steem blockchain.
From that foundation, our mission evolved: to improve the overall Steem experience through better tools, cleaner interfaces, and more accessible integrations.

Over time, we’ve expanded our work to include new platforms and utilities, such as:

• Telegram Mini-App – a unique integration that lets anyone post, schedule, and manage Steem content directly from Telegram.
• cur8.fun – a full-featured, modern frontend for Steem focused on simplicity, curation, and creator empowerment.

Both tools were built with one goal: to make Steem easier, faster, and more enjoyable to use, especially for newcomers and creators who want a clean experience.

Our Work and Contributions

• Developed a complete posting and curation interface (cur8.fun) connected directly to the blockchain.
• Built a Telegram integration layer to expand Steem’s reach beyond its traditional audience.
• Helped test and support various community projects with an open and collaborative approach.
• Contributed to the onboarding of new users by simplifying tools and creating clear user flows.

Current Collaborations

We’re actively collaborating with projects that aim to expand Steem’s possibilities — including SteemEVM, led by @blaze.apps, which is working on bringing EVM compatibility to Steem.

Our goal is to help bridge ecosystems and make Steem more interoperable, accessible, and developer-friendly.

• Support content curation and projects that highlight quality creators.
• Provide reliable infrastructure and consistent witness uptime.
• Promote cross-platform integrations that connect Steem to the wider Web3 world.
• Keep Steem modern, open, and welcoming for creators and developers.
• Engage directly with the community to prioritize transparency and collaboration.
