Enhancing the Analytics Tool: Multi-Tag Search and Visualization Improvements
Today I want to tell you about new things I made for our Steemit Posts Analytics tool under steemhub https://steemhub.tech/. I added better search and better charts to help people understand stats.
Multi-Tag Support: A Game Changer for Content Analysis
The biggest new thing is multi-tag search. Before, you could only search for one tag. Now you can:
- Search for posts with many tags at once
- See how different topics connect
- Find content that matches many things you want
This lets you do cool things like:
- Look at posts that are both
travelANDphotography - Find all
cryptoposts that also havetutorialandbeginnerstags - See how often
foodposts also haverecipetags
How Multi-Tag Search Works
The search works like this:
- It finds posts with the main tag first
- It keeps only posts that have ALL the other tags you want
- It makes tags look the same for fair comparison
- It looks at both tags and categories
This makes sure you find exactly what you want without waiting too long.
Better Charts
I also made the charts look better:
Authors Chart
- Better bars that show top authors
- Clearer labels
Tag Distribution Chart
- Nicer donut chart
- Works better on phones
- Better information when you hover
Posts Time Chart
- Better timeline view
- Clearer dates
Enhance Speed
To enhance search speed,I cached th results to prevent performing the same search multiple times. This reduces redundant processing and improves efficiency.
Try It Out!
The multi-tag search is ready now. Just type a main tag and add more tags in the search box. You'll see only posts with all those tags.

The tables look way better but I don't see the benefit of searching for more hashtags although it might be interesting to see (for example) how much poetry is written by freewriters or how many stories.
What I miss, and mentioned before, is to search for community x hashtag since hashtags are also used by those not active in communities/
Example: artonsteemit is the hashtag the community Art & Artists uses so I like to see how many times it is used in the community same for #freeewrite used within the community #freewriters. I don't think it's interesting to see for a community who likes to know who's the most active member to see Korea or China or Witnesses showing up.
Many people ask me about this feature because their contests use multiple tags. Also, I think you asked me about that. Are you proposing a new feature to see the stats for a specific community? Is that what I understand? Would that help?
I am 100% sure I asked for this: SEARCH community x hashtag
We spoke about others using the hashtag artonsteemit remember? This gives a false outcome for the community.
Same for other communities who like to see their top authors using a certain hashtag.
For example if a community likes to know how many members use creative or creativewriting. Also good to see if there's hashtag abuse among the top users.
Next I said m: search on author name x hashtag and an extra 'tag/search option was discussed. So no new proposal still the same. And extra search option next to the tag. No matter if it's the hive number, an account or another hashtag. The search should have a bit extra to give insight in the real picture.
For example showing the clubstatus is pointless if this is based on the hashtag people use. A part uses nothing, a part uses the wrong one. I also like to hear what happens if 2 different clubstatus tags are used.
Your answer waa positive but if there is no interest you can save yourself time and trouble and I do it the old fashioned way.

My friend, is that what you want? You can enter the community tag and enter another one. I think what you like is there, but you might not know that you can do it.

I like to search on community name x hashtag or account name x hashtag. It would give a better idea of the activity of Steemit accounts if it comes to posting but also commenting. Not only if contests are joined but also activity withing the community and accitivity of Steemians on the platform.
So the ideal search would be:
account (name) x hashtag
community x hashtag
P.s. community hashtag will not work because others use them as well. Hashtag abuse is a huge problem.
