A long sleeves white corporate shirt, buttoned and tucked into a black thick black trousers. I slipped my legs into a pair of socks and then into a black pair of mirror-finish cover shoe. A black long tie is neatly knotted by the collar of the white shirt, and is designed with a gold color half jacket. The gold half jacket seems happy to meet my white shirt, making the color combo magnificent.

Now let's talk about my outfit in details:

• White corporate shirt: It's not your usual white cotton shirt from the store. It's is kind of slippery, it doesn't absorb much water when washed and it dries fast. When the sun hits this white shirt, you would think I borrowed it from an angel because of how it reflects the sunlight 😌

• Trouser, socks and shoes: This black trouser, is my favorite. I love it so much because I can wear it without ironing and you won't even noticed. The trouser is thick and very comfortable.
  I wore socks to cover my legs before putting on my black shoes, and they fit so well with my color combo. Imagine wearing a corporate, English-style wear like this without a sock? I can't make that mistake; I won't be comfortable sitting down with my ankle and part of my foot exposed. No ooo, not me!😀

• Tie and half jacket: the tie matches the vibe of my white shirt, it's also a silk material, shiny, making them blend well.
  My gold half jacket is has three buttons; the buttons are black with a touch of silver, so it fits the color combo. It has two front pockets. Did you notice something in the half jacket? My white handkerchief didn't want to miss out on the shot, so it stucked out from the pocket😃

Why do you like the outfit?

The outfit is simple and breathable because it doesn't come with suit. It is also unique in the way it is worn. Most people would wear it with gold trouser to match with the half jacket, but I went for the unusual, that's a black trouser. I felt confident walking about because no one else was wearing half jacket with a different-colored trouser. So you see, my styling and color combo made me unique that day.

About my color combo. I rocked my outfit with only three colors: black, gold and white. Wearing a gold trouser and gold half jacket will look shouty because the gold color is light. Depends on likes and occasion I'll say!

I prefer a long tie with my half jacket, it looks mature and bold. Some people prefer bow tie, that looks childish to me.

But, the was a time I rocked this gold half jacket with a bow tie and a magenta trouser. It was a uniform wear, I didn't have a choice. Personally, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind 😅

Funny enough, my outfit comes from different sources😀

My friend got me the white corporate shirt in our capital city, Uyo. I'm still sad I never get to know that place. He passed away a year later, and now the shirt is a memory of him to me😢

The half jacket was designed by my tailor, 'Gwillz stitches,' also in Uyo. The black trouser was a gift from my beloved friend. It was a surprise package all the way from Lagos.
