Prove Yourself as the Best Artist for the Week

I’m really feverish to take part in this week’s art challenge organized by @dequeen. I've always loved creative conditioning, and delineation is one of the effects that gives me peace of mind whenever I've some free time. This week’s theme inspired me to bring out my colors and express commodity joyous through art.

✅ Explain what you draw in your own words.

For this contest, I opted to draw Pikachu, one of the most notorious cartoon icons cherished each around the world. Pikachu is a symbol of energy, blessedness, and fellowship — that’s squarely why I took it. Every occasion I feel at Pikachu, it reminds me to stay blithesome no matter what. I claimed my delineation to express positivity and convert a smile to anyone who sees it.

Before starting my delineation, I followed the contest rule and wrote my username @abdullaht and the date08-10-2025 on my delineation paper.
Then’s how I made my artwork

Outline Sketch I began by smoothly sketching the introductory shape of Pikachu using a pencil. I concentrated on getting the head and cognizance right first since they define the whole look.

Body and Tail Next, I drew Pikachu’s tubby body and lightning- shaped tail. I made sure to give it a cute sitting disguise to make it look friendly.

Inking After finishing the pencil work, I used a black marker to outline the entire figure neatly.

Coloring Eventually, I used unheroic for the body, red for the cheeks, and black for the observance tips. The mouth was filled with a blend of pink and red to give it a bright and happy expression.

✅ How long did take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it.

It took me around one hour to complete this delineation from start to finish. I did n’t rush because I wanted it to look clean and suggestive. I felt veritably happy while drawing, and when I completed it, the result made me smile.

My inspiration approached from my nonage recollections of following Pokémon. Pikachu has constantly existed one of my favorite characters, so I required to convert it to life through my own handicraft manner. It’s a naked delineation, but it represents diversion and positivity.
