Prove Yourself is the best artist for the week

I am happy to once again enter this beautiful drawing contest of Week 87 with my creative effort. This time I have tried to make a sketch of little bit an anime style beautiful girl with the help of HB pencil. I started this drawing with very basic, simply and then gradually added details of the face, hair, eyes and clothing with carefully. For me, drawing is not just about drawing lines on paper, but also a means of shaping my thoughts into an image.

Before starting the drawing I wrote my username @abdullaht and the date 18-09-2026 on the paper as per the competition instructions. I then began to sketch my sketch with a light hand with a pencil.

Step 1: Paper Preparation

First I took a clean white paper and wrote my username @abdullaht and date on it before I started drawing of anime girl. I then visualized and started to draw the basic shape of the character in my mind and started drawing with very light pencil lines.

Step 2: Initial outline of the face

In the second step I created the basic shape of the girl's face. I first drew the front braids of hair and the outer outline of the face with a light hand so that if a line goes wrong it can be easily erased with an eraser. At this stage I tried to keep the facial structure balanced.

Step 3: Detailing the hair and neck

When the basic outline of the face was ready, I defined the hair more. I made the hair long on both sides and tried to create a natural look through different hairlines. Next sketched the neck and collar to complete the character.

Step 4: Dress and more details
In the next step I completed the shoulders and the shape of the dress. Also made a beautiful bow-like design in the middle of the dress. Also refined some of the hairlines and positioned the eyes, nose and mouth for the face.

Step 5: Eyes and final details

Finally, the most attention was paid to the face. I made big eyes and did light and dark shading with pencil to make the eyes appear more prominent. Then added light shading to the nose, mouth and face. Also redefined some of the hair and clothing lines. Finally erase the unnecessary marks with rubber and complete the sketch.

How long did it take me to make this drawing?

It took me about an 45 minutes to complete this whole drawing board f anime girl. Although the drawing is not very large and difficult, it took a lot of time to create the details of the face and eyes. Instead of rushing, I completed and finished the each part slowly and with full concentration so that the overall look would look good.

Feeling about my drawing

When I finally saw my finished drawing, I felt happy and proud. I know there is still room for improvement in my drawings, but every drawing is a new learning experience for me and I learned a lot. I find that hand grip, clean lines, and the ability to create facial expressions improve with constant practice.

My movement

For this drawing I was inspired by the simple and beautiful faces of anime style characters. I especially like characters with big eyes because their facial expressions make the drawing stand out. Keeping this idea in mind, I tried to create a character with my pencil that showed both innocence and simplicity.
