Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

I am back with my new drawing as a participant in this beautiful art contest of week 52. Drawing is not just a hobby for me but a medium through which I put my heart's feelings on paper. You can clearly see the complete preparation steps of the sketch I have made this time in the above images.

What drawing did I make?

This time I formed a pencil delineation of a small bird sitting on a tree branch. This bird represents independence, peacefulness and enchantress of nature. I love birds because they give us the communication of plainness, patience and freedom. In this delineation I tried to give a feeling of softness and literalism to the bird's wings, beak and eyes.

Drawing Steps (Step by Step)

First I held a bald paper and easily wrote my username(@abdullaht) and the date(19-12-2025) on it.

After that I formed a essential figure of the bird's head and nib with a flare pencil.

In the next step I created the eye and neck shape.

Then gradually draw the shape of the body and wings and show the texture of the wings through lines.

Next I added the legs and paws.

Finally add the tree branch and leaves to make the scene look complete and natural.

Erased the dispensable lines and offered the closing form to the sketch.

How long did it take and how did it feel?

It held me about 45 to 50 minutes to finalize this delineation. When I completed my delineation, I perceived immense blessedness and peacefulness of head. It lived as if I had attained a small background of nature on paper.

Inspiration

For this art I got inspiration from nature, bird and tree scenes. I often watch birds in the morning, the same scenery inspires me to create something new.
