"Contest 39 | My favorite outfit this week.."

Good day, everyone. Trust you're all doing well. A big thanks to @m-fdo for bringing this amazing contest again. I’m really glad to participate in it because I love anything that has to do with expressing ourselves through simple, everyday fashion.

For this week’s contest, the outfit I chose as my favorite is something very simple, and the picture I shared earlier is exactly what I’m talking about. The outfit is made up of a plain black short-sleeve T-shirt paired with wide-leg patterned trousers, popularly known as palazzo. As basic as it may look, this combination remains one of the easiest ways for me to stay comfortable while still looking presentable.
I didn’t go for anything fancy or dramatic. I just wanted something free and breathable, and this outfit gave me exactly that without stress.

Honestly, the first reason I like this outfit is because of how comfortable and free it feels. It’s not only about fashion for me; it’s also about my health and how I feel inside my clothes. I don’t like tight outfits at all. Anything that holds my body too much or makes me feel heat automatically becomes stressful to me. That’s why this combination is perfect. The top is light and simple, and the palazzo trousers are loose enough to allow air and movement.

Apart from comfort, I also love how it fits my body naturally. I got some really nice compliments from people when I wore it, and that alone made me like it even more. When people tell you, “Your outfit is fine,” or “You look good today,” it boosts your confidence in that outfit without you even trying. This whole experience made it stand out as my favorite for the week.

I got both items from Impressive Boutique, which is very close to my father’s office and also near Shoprite in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. The boutique is not too big, but they have nice and affordable clothes. I always like shopping there because they sell things that match my style—simple, neat, and comfortable outfits.

Just like the style is simple, the value is also simple and affordable. I bought the black top for 6,000₦, which is about 54 STEEM, and the palazzo trousers cost 12,000₦, which is around 108 STEEM. In total, the whole outfit cost me 18,000₦. For me, it’s never really about the price but about how the outfit makes me feel. This one made me feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy, so it’s definitely worth every naira I spent.

To wrap it up, this outfit may look simple, but it gave me everything I needed—comfort, beauty, confidence, and peace of mind. That is why it remains my favorite outfit of the week, and I’m happy to share it for this contest.
