Surprise @brah13
Hello Dear Steemain Friends ,
Hope you are all doing well. I am excited to discuss a fun contest today. It comes from @drhira. The theme is 'Surprise,' always a favorite topic for me. I will share my thoughts on it right here.
My family is not great at secrets. Their surprises are usually easy to spot. A brightly wrapped box, that is their style. One dull November night, my parents called for me. Their faces looked odd. I figured it was something boring. Maybe a new chore list. Or a gift way too early for Christmas.

My dad then said, “Pack a bag.” His eyes gave him away. He added, “Bring clothes for a week. Do not ask me why.”
I was confused at first. Then I felt truly worried. A bag? For seven days? Did I miss some family event? My mind went wild with bad thoughts. I slowly packed random clothes. My head buzzed with questions.
Later that night, I sat in the living room. They gave me a small envelope. It had no marks. Inside were two plane tickets. They were for Reykjavik, Iceland. My mouth fell open. For years, I had talked about seeing the Northern Lights. It was my big dream. I never thought it would happen.
The next day, we were on a plane. The whole trip took months to plan. Flights, hotels, and fun things to do. My parents kept it all secret. They heard every small wish I made. Then they made it all come true. It was amazing how well they worked together.

A few nights later, I stood under the dark sky in Iceland. Green lights danced above us. Tears ran down my face. It was more than a pretty sight.
I saw that my family really knew me. They did this in their own quiet way. They did not just give me a trip. They gave me a dream come true. It was the best surprise ever. I will always hold it dear.

I would invite my friends @shohana1, @mollymochtar and @jyoti-thelight to take part in the contest.
