Greetings dear friends! I believe you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @dequeen for organising and sustaining this contest. I also appreciate @emmaboy23 for inviting me to participate in this contest. Below is my drawing, along with the step-by-step process.

What I drew today is the portrait of a guy putting on a face cap, an earring and a necklace.

Materials for the drawing

• Plain Embossed paper
• HB Pencil
• Eraser
• Blade
• Black pen.

Step 1
I began by writing my username and date on plain paper. I then drew the face cap using a HB pencil. I started drawing the face cap from the crown followed by the bill. I then drew the top button and concluded with the crown stitches.

Step 2
I drew the head and face of the guy putting on the face cap. I started with the left eye, followed by the nose, the mouth and the lower jaw. I then drew the second eye, the ear, the back of his head and the neck. I did this using a HB pencil.

Step 3
Here, I trace the entire drawing using a black pen.

Step 4
I shaded the black eyelid using a black pen. I also shaded the nostril and the beard of the guy.

Step 5
I drew a pattern on the face cap and shaded it using a black pen.

Step 6
I drew an earring on the guy's ear and then shaded the ear, face, and neck using a pencil and black pen.

*Step 7"
I drew the shoulder, the collar of the T-shirt and the necklace hanging on his neck. I also started shading the T-shirt he put on.

Step 8
I shaded the collar of the T-shirt and completed the shading of the T-shirt.

✅ How long did it take to complete your drawing, and how do you feel about it?

This drawing took me approximately two (2) hours to accomplish. I was very careful using a pen to make this drawing because once a mistake is made, the entire work will be condemned since I can not erase pen ink. I became very happy when I finished the drawing because I got the result I wanted.

I saw the original image of what I drew today on Facebook, which attracted me and aroused my desire to draw it.
