Greetings dear friend. I am glad to be here again after a long period of break. I am here today with a pencil drawing which I am convinced that you will all like.

✅ Explain what you draw in your own words.
What I drew today is a beautiful cartoon image of a young girl. Her head appears larger than her body, and she has slightly larger eyes, her face is contorted as though someone had offended her. She has a beautiful hairstyle with a small ribbon in her hair. She put on a short-sleeved shirt with a necktie and a wrist watch in her hands.

Materials for drawing

• Plain embossed paper
• HB pencil
• 2B pencil
• 5B pencil
• 10B pencil
• Eraser
• Razor blade
• Brush

Step 1
I began this drawing by sketching the head and face of the young girl. I also drew her ear using an HB pencil.

Step 2
I drew the eyes and eyebrows. I began with the right eye and concluded with the left eye. The next thing I do is to draw the nose and shade it appropriately.

Step 3
I drew the mouth of the lady shaded it and the entire face to show a contorted face. I shaded her ear, the earring and the hair on her head.

Step 4
I drew the collar of her shirt and the necktie she put on. I also drew one of her hands and part of her body from the shoulder to the waist level. I concluded the step by shading.

Step 5
I drew the second hand of the young girl, the tail of her necktie, and the waist of her trousers. I also shaded all the parts accordingly.

✅ How long did it take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it?
It did not take much time to have this drawing completed. It took me about one hour and ten minutes (70 minutes) to draw. I was truly happy with the outcome of the drawing and the short time I spent.

I saw a drawing like this on social media and I decided to replicate it using pencil and paper.
