Contest 45 | Your Favorite Outfit This Week.
This week, my favorite outfit is the beautiful green top and black trousers I wore to school. The outfit is simple, comfortable, and very stylish at the same time. In the photos, I am wearing a bright green T-shirt paired with black leggings. I completed the look with a small brown handbag and a simple necklace. The outfit looks casual but still neat and confident.
I love this outfit because it makes me feel comfortable, bold, and sharp. The green color is very vibrant and eye-catching. It complements my complexion and makes me stand out in a crowd. Whenever I wear it, I feel confident, fresh, bold, and happy. The material of the top is soft and light, which makes it very comfortable, especially in Nigeria’s warm weather. The black leggings balance the brightness of the green top, creating a clean and stylish combination. Black is always a safe and classic color, so it makes the whole outfit look well put together.
Another reason I like this outfit is that it is adaptable and comfortable. I can wear it to school, casual outings with friends, or even small events. In the second photo, I am with my friend, and we both look stylish in our outfits. My green top stands out beautifully against the natural background. It is an outfit that allows me to move freely and feel relaxed while still looking fashionable or stylish.
Honestly speaking, I got this outfit from Itam Market in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The market is located in a busy area close to the university environment. The location is lively and busy, with many small fashion stores, accessories shops, and street vendors around. I enjoy buying things there because you can find trendy and affordable clothes. The seller is friendly and helps customers choose what fits them well. I remember trying on the top and immediately loving how it looked on me, so I decided to buy it.
The value of this outfit is affordable but worth it. The green top cost ₦7,000, and the black leggings cost ₦2,000 because they were foreign wear normally known as thrifts. Altogether, the total cost of the outfit is ₦9,000 (Nigerian Naira). In STEEM currency, considering that 1 STEEM is approximately ₦500 (this may vary depending on the market rate), the outfit would be worth about 10 STEEM or 20 STEEM.
To me, the true value of this outfit is more than the price. It gives me confidence, boldness, comfort, and happiness. Fashion is not just about expensive brands but about how an outfit makes you feel. This green top and black leggings combination has become my favorite this week because it reflects my personality that's been simple, bold, and confident.
I therefore invite @bossj23 @peacemike to participate in this contest.
