Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

Hello steemians

What a wonderful day it is once again to be able to post in this great platform, like wise be a participant of the contest where I would learn from my fellow contestants....well I also thank the moderator for bringing such wonderful contest.

Well I'll be sharing a little piece of sketch I did of a character from "DEVIL MAY CRY" "vergil"whom also happens to be the brother of the main character in the movie . I'll recommend you to watch the movie as well "DEVIL MAY CRY" either the 3D version or the animated series.

So .....let's get the drawing started😈

MATERIALS

Pencil
Eraser
Sharpener
Paper.

PROCEDURE

STEP1:

First of all I started by drawing his eyebrow, from the of the brow I drew a curved line.....then below the brow I drew his eye and as well drew a shape around the eye to indicate the dark spot of the area, then I drew the other eye brow and his eye as well even the dark area........then I drew a lil line from where the dark area stopped as well as drew the nose too, the dark area of that part, I also drew a curved line at the opposite sides of the nose and the mouth too.....which consisted of the top and bottom lips.

STEP2:

Then above the eye brow at the opposite side,I drew a curved line downwards to where would make his chin.....then I began to draw his hair, which looks like tendrils. After which I drew the collar of the cloth he wore, then the zip of the cloth as well as the structure of the cloth, then I drew the collar of the outer cloth he had worn which had few design on it(which is it's left collar side) and the other collar as well, which looks like a suit-like collar.

STEP3:

Then two straight line opposite at the face part, downwards to the where the left collar was, thus is the handle of the sword he's holding .....then I drew his hand and fingers as well as the sword, then I drew part of his hair and his ear. But l almost forgot I drew buttons of the suit.

STEP4:

Then I used my pencil to color the dark area f the sketch to had a lil tone of reality to it so that it could look like the original tho....well I hope it come out as expected.

Though I don't have the colors to make it look as nice as the original though...

Well I'm grateful for this platform for allowing me to share part of what makes me happy ....
