Happy new year everyone....I hope you all had a wonderful cross over from 2025 to 2026, I wish we get our heart desire fulfill this year. Last night have been tough for us but we made it through the help of God and this year we will be sure to get what we really want , once again I wish y'all a happy new year, a new beginning it is.

I wanna show off something exciting for this contest, because it has been a source of where I can express my self in countless ways through my talent.

Which is why I'll be drawing a sketch of DAX (a rap artist) whom originates from Nigeria, though he's an inspiration to me that regardless the race, ethic group, clan so on I come from I can reach higher and beyond my dreams limited by so whatever circumstances.

PROCEDURE

STEP1:

I started by drawing the eye which looks like an oval shape, with the top side longated, then I put a line below it which represents the eye lid. After I had done that I drew the eye brow by shaded it, thick.

STEP2:

Then I drew the nose by drawing half of it with a large nostril, as well as colouring it, even though it looks a feline nose. Then I drew part of part of his beard which I shaded thick.

STEP3:

After which I was done I moved over to drawing his fingers and mic which he was holding, I also drew space for the shadow line on his fingers and from there I drew the head of the microphone.

STEP4:

Then I started drawing the microphone till I was done by drawing a straight lines and curves which represents the body and bottom of it. Then I completed the hand too by drawing the thumb and palm as well as shading it.

STEP5:

Then I drew the mouth by drawing an oval like shape then I coloured it and drew a half line below it to represent the lip but I shaded the shadow on his skin from the mouth to his chin part of the shadow represents his beard on the chin, after that I moved over to drawing the ear where part of it where shaded. Then I drew a straight line from the mouth which was his dimple.

STEP6:

Then I completed his head, drew his hair and coloured it after that I shaded the shadow on his neck as well as drawing the necklace he wore as well as drawing a line that represents his chest and arm.

STEP7:

Then I shaded his arm pit and part that had shadow on it as well as shading it to make it look like how I saw it.
