Hello guys, trust you all are having a great day. The drawing before us is a drawing which shows the beauty and struggles of a black african girl, it shows how beautiful she is and also talks about her struggles. I wrote a little Poem about this drawing down below.

Title: She Is Still Here

She is just a girl,
from somewhere in the heart of Africa.

Sometimes she smiles,
not because life is easy,
but because she refuses
to let it harden her heart.
Sometimes she doesn’t,
and that’s okay too.

They don’t always ask her what she wants.
They tell her who she should be,
where she should stand,
how quietly she should hope.
Still, something in her eyes
keeps answering back.

She is a girl child of Africa,
not a statistic,
Just a child
learning how to be strong
in a world that keeps testing her.
And even now,
with nothing promised,
with everything uncertain,
she is still here.
Looking forward.
Waiting for her time.

This is my first drawing or sketch for this work before sketching

i started with the hair, she has a braids on but looks some how old. it was my intention to make it that way, to give it an old look.
