Hello world, greetings to you all, this month has been wonderful and its a great pleasure to see the end of this month. Today i decided to make a post for a contest organized by @dequeen, this contest helps artist like my self to be able to engage in competitions that will develop their skills every week.

The work before us is a work of a lady with a colorful hat, this work wasnt just a work i drew from somewhere it was an imaginary piece, showcasing the beautiful color of a black woman. i titled this work " the Lady with a colorful hat" colour brings so much beauty to a piece, and in my drawing i decided to add color to her hat because it will compliment her looks, i never knew it would turn out this way i just had to do it like that, sometimes dont think about making mistakes just do the work and it may shock you at the end.

Every beginning of a drawing starts with a sketch, i started drawing by making random, simple sketches just like the one you are seeing today.

i started adding my colors from this stage
