prove yourself as the best artist of this week #week 42
Hello folks, how you all doing today for sometime now i havent been consistent on my blog posting art works regularly, but today i decided to find time to participate in this challenge of " Prove yourself as the best artist of this week" organized by @dequeen
the drawing before us is a drawing of a lady in a very colorful backgroud with beautiful hair, this work took me almost an hour to figure out and considering the fact that it was an imaginary piece that even made matter more worst. this piece reminds me of asian women with very long hair, i feel my drawing basically reflects my familiarity with such type of people because sometimes i feel imagination sparks from something familiar. i may not have been to the country where i could find such kinds of women but my familiarity of them in movies surfaced in my drawing. this drawing is just a random drawing, i decided that its been long i posted in this blog and i must do something today.

Progress work
this process started with a faint line, this faint lines where drawn using my graphite pencil. Sadly i couldnt take that image because i was in a hurry to round up my the drawing. after the faint lines i darkened it using my charcoal pencil.
At this stage i started added color by using my crayon pencil to add some texture and shade to the face of my drawing.
same procedure i applied in this stage by adding more colourful details to my work.

You use the vibrant colors in the background. I really admired it. The sketch of the woman with those big yellow earrings is so captivating. Your use of contrast between the bold background and the detailed face is really awesome. You did a great job. I wish you success.

Sometimes I'm quite surprised to see your art and wonder if you learned it from somewhere or if you thought of making it yourself.
