Prove yourself as the best artist for the week

Today I'm participating with you all a beautiful sketch I formed for this week's contest. I've been fond of drawing since nonage, and whenever I get time I try to produce commodity with pencil and paper.

This time I outlined a cute little anime style girl doing a hand salutation. Her big eyes, soft hair and simple clothes form her look veritably innocent and fascinating. I tried to form this symbol simple but beautiful so that her expression is clear.

Drawing Steps( Step by Step)

Step 1

First I held a fair piece of paper and wrote my username and date on it to prove it was my own sketch.

Step 2

I drew the essential shape of the head( circle) with a light pencil to produce the base of the face.

Step 3

Next I created the figure of the hair, especially the front lacings( borderline) and the shape of the side hair.

Step 4

also I created the hand position that's doing the salutation. The arrangement of the fingers and the side of the hand are precisely made in this.

Step 5

Now I outlined out the neck and the fabric, adding the collar and sleeve designs.

Step 6

I also marked the position of the eyes on the face area and also formed big anime eyes. I formed a nose and a small open mouth to form the expression appear cute.

Then I replaced the ears with cat ears to make the character make more cute.

Step 7

I also darkened the figure of the all sketch and erased unnecessary lines.

Eventually I did shading, especially in clothes and hair, to add deepness and beauty to the delineation.

Eventually I checked the complete delineation and corrected minor mistakes.

Time and Feelings

This delineation took me about 1 to 2 hours to complete. It felt a bit delicate at first but as the delineation developed, my confidence grew. I felt veritably happy and proud when I completed it.

Inspiration

I got the inspiration for this delineation from anime art. I frequently watch similar characters and try to learn from them.
