How are you all? By the grace of God, I hope everyone is doing well in this temporary situation in the country. Alhamdulillah, I am fine too. I am coming to you with a different kind of post. Today, I will share a wonderful piece of art with you. Today, here I am participating this interesting contest prove your self as the best artist for the week, this contest organized by our honorable mam @daqeen.

Today, I will show you a pencil drawing of a leaf. I am not very good at sketching, but I really like this pencil sketch. I hope you like it.

Materials needed to make it

2B,4B pencil
Drawing paper A4 size
Marker
Eraser

First, I drew my username and put the date in one corner of the page.

Then I lightly drew 6 lines with a pencil. I flattened the pencil along those lines and covered the flower petals like in the image.

Then I draw the flower filament in the middle of the flower with a dark pencil.

Then I put a bud and a branch next to the flower and covered it with some leaves.

Finally, I will try to make my lily flower drawing a little more attractive by outlining it. This is a simple pencil sketch of a lily flower.

Explain what do you draw in your own words?

Today, in the picture I tried to draw of a flower, I showed how beautiful a blooming flower looks. This lily flower is one of my very favorite flowers.

How long did take to complete your drawing and how do you feel about it?

This picture was very easy to draw and I had a lot of fun. It took me about half an hour to draw this picture. I enjoy drawing. It makes me happy and reduces my stress. And I believe that you should do whatever you are interested in.

I saw this contest on the Steemit platform and thought I'd participate today. I like watching drawing videos on YouTube. I took inspiration from there and made this drawing. I hope you like it.
