My favorite outfit this week is the saree. Even after this week, the personal saree is one of my favorite outfits. Saree is a traditional and popular garment worn by Bengali women, which is usually 4.5 to 9 yards long and is unstitched. This garment is made of various materials including cotton, silk, jamdani, katan, and muslin. Sarees are worn as casual and festive wear in Bangladesh and India.

Some popular saree types and features:
Cotton and handloom sarees: Known as comfortable everyday wear, such as Tangail loom.
Silk and cotton sarees: Popular for festivals or parties, such as Aarong's silk and Daraz's katan and half silk.
Jamdani and Muslin: The bearer of Bengali culture, which is a symbol of nobility.
Designer Sarees: Brands like Haritaki Fashion or Saree Ghar make modern designed sarees.

In Bangladesh, silk, cotton, jamdani and designer sarees can be easily purchased within different budgets on platforms like Aarong, Daraz, and Infinity Mega Mall. Sarees are usually worn with blouses and petticoats.

✅ Why do you like this outfit?

Sarees are the main and traditional dress of women in Bangladesh, which is a symbol of Bengali culture, nobility and taste. Sarees are a part of the tradition of our Bengalis, it is associated with the passion of Bengali women, so I like this dress a lot. Also, in our various cultural events, we usually give priority to the saree dress and wear it. Most of our Bengali women like the saree dress very much, it is our passion. Jamdani, muslin, tant and silk sarees are woven to showcase the history and artistic heritage of Bangladesh, so this dress is quite a favorite of mine.

I bought this dress a long time ago from a shop in our district. The name of the place where the shop is located is Fatullah. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to go there from our house. My mother bought this saree for me about 5-6 years ago. This is one of my favorite sarees.
