Benefits of Watermelon

Today I want to share about fruit which I really like in summer days. That fruit is ***Watermelon*** . In our area we call it ***Tarbooz*** . It is one of the most refreshing fruits in hot days. Its outer side is green and inside it is red and juicy. Some watermelons have black seeds and some have very less seeds. Almost everyone in summer love to eat it.
When weather become very hot, watermelon feels so relaxing. After coming home from outside heat, eating cold watermelon gives different type of peace. It cool down the body and also make mood fresh. I also like to eat it in afternoon time because weather becomes too much hot here.
One of the best thing about watermelon is water. It has a lot of water inside it. That is why doctors also say it helps body stay hydrated. In summer our body lose water because of sweating, so watermelon helps recover it in natural way.
Watermelon also contain Vitamin C. This vitamin is very important for health. It helps our immune system become strong. It also helps body fight small illness like flu or weakness. I think natural fruits are more better than unhealthy snack.
Another nice thing is that watermelon is good for our skin. Because it has water and vitamins. It help skin to stay fresh. In summer many people face dryness because of heat, but fruits like watermelon can help little bit.
It is also light for stomach. When we eat oily food in hot weather, stomach sometimes feel heavy. But watermelon feels soft and easy to digest. That is why many people prefer it in summer evenings.
Watermelon also gives energy. After playing outside or working in sunlight, one cold slice of watermelon feels amazing. It remove tiredness and body feels relaxed again. Sometimes small things give big comfort.
Many people make juice from watermelon too. Some add ice and little sugar. It taste very good. My children also enjoy watermelon juice a lot. Especially at night time when whole family sit together and eat watermelon, it creates happy moments.
In villages and local markets, watermelon is very common during summer. Farmers grow it in fields and sell fresh fruit. When I see big watermelons in market. It always remind me that summer has start. It gives freshness, water and health together. Sometimes simple fruits are more useful than expensive food items. We should eat more natural fruits in daily life. They keep body active and fresh. 🍉
