Contest 39 | My favorite outfit this week..
Hello my fellow steemians and members of steem fashion&style community welcome to my blog I'm here to participate in this awesome contest organized by @m-fdo. Thanks to my friend @mercybliss for inviting me to participate in the contest. I'm here to tell you about my favorite outfit for this week. just read along.
✅ What's your favorite outfit this week? Describe it by sharing its photos.
This week I decided to go on something cool yet not so different from my style. I like this outfit because it's the only short sleeve Ankara in my closet.
So this week I decided to go on casual outfit. This is one of my favourite outfit in terms of outing and other traditional event. It's an African style and heritage.
✅ Why do you like this outfit?
This outfit is one of my coolest fashion statement. This is both fashionable and stylish. Wether hot or cold you can always count on this casual outfit. The weather conditions doesn't matter.
This outfit is dashing. It is cool. It's not like trendy stuffs.
Secondly, this outfit meets my foremost criteria for my choice of outfit. So what is the criteria? Comfort, yes comfort is my top most priority in choosing outfit.
This particular outfit meets the criteria because I feel very comfortable in it. And I love it because it's suitable for any traditional event.
✅ Where did you get this outfit? Tell me about the location.
Though I can recall how and where I bought this outfit. I never bought the whole item in one particular place. But I can vividly recall all the events of the moment related to how I eventually bought each of it. If you can recall I talked about my priority in buying outfits. My number one priority in the list of priorities is comfort. If it doesn't make me feel comfortable I won't buy it. I won't even price it.
Let me explain where I literally bought them.
Shirt(Ankara); I got the Ankara material from my Dad and paid 2000 naira for my fashion designer to sew it
Pants(trousers); I bought it from Ikot Ekpene L.G.A. where my Dad was a serving officer.
Boots; I literally bought it from my shoes vendor who has a market kiosk at BAE ARENA close to Ibom plaza.
Glasses(blue filter); I bought it from an online vendor. She's based on Aka Etinan road here in Uyo.
✅ What is the value of this outfit? Show us its value in your country's currency and in STEEM currency.
My outfit is not that expensive. I can tell you how much I got each item.
The Ankara shirt was 2000 naira only(that is for sewing it), which makes it 20 steem according to today's market.
The Pant (trousers) was 3000 naira only, which makes it 30 steem according to today's steem market.
The Boots was just 3000 naira only, which is 30 steem according to today's market.
The blue filter glasses was just 3500 naira only, which is 35 steem according to today's market.
In total my entire outfit cost 11,500 naira only. which is approximately 115 steem according to today's market
My love for simplicity has overwhelmed me. I'm a very simple person. However, I like classic wears because they never go out of fashion or style(vogue). Have you seen how comfortable I am in my casual outfit but still feeling myself?
I don't like wearing what is expensive and in vogue.
I love when I can wear my clothes over and over again without going out of style. The model instinct inside me won't let me go out of class. This clothes makes me feel different. This outfit boost my confidence and apparently makes me comfortable.
I will like to invite my friends to also participate in the contest. they are: @julietbella @destinedhanik @josepha and @jemilatbuhari
