‎Hello my fellow Steemians and members of the Steem Fashion&Style community, welcome to my blog. I'm here to participate in this awesome contest organized by @m-fdo. I'm here to tell you about my favorite outfit for this week.

‎In general, an outfit is a set of clothes worn together for a certain purpose or reason.
‎I'm a simple person when it comes to outfits. I have a wardrobe full of simple clothes. Simple clothes are easy to maintain. And I love foreign clothes. Those simple foreign clothes are basically known as Okrika in my country. I love them because they last longer than some of our local clothes. However, for today I will be talking about a local cloth that was made here locally.

✅ What's your favorite outfit this week? Describe it by sharing its photos.

‎This week I decided to go with a local outfit. These clothes are very simple. Everything I'm wearing is local except for my shoes. I love local clothes for so many reasons. It's inexplicable. I can't start telling you everything now.
‎Let me describe the outfit from head to toe. The shirt is known as a Senator. It is made of wool. I love the shirt because it is my second favorite color. I wore it with white trousers and I finished the look with sleek boots, commonly known as high-top sneakers.

✅ Why do you like this outfit?

‎Basically, I like comfort when it comes to outfits. Secondly, I'm the kind of person that likes the foreign lifestyle. So most times I love showcasing that with my sense of dressing and music. Almost all my outfits are foreign. I don't have a single local song on my mobile phone. That is the extent of my love for things that are foreign-made. Though I was born and brought up here in Nigeria, I most times feel delusional about living a foreign lifestyle. This outfit is a fashion statement telling others that this man is an international man. I like this outfit because it doesn't cost me much money and it also makes me stand out.
‎However, today was a different day. I decided to rock my locally made outfit. It's known as a Senator in Nigeria.

✅ Where did you get this outfit? Tell me about the location.

‎I didn't buy this outfit all at once. I got them from different markets and sources. I bought the plain material from a tailor close to my street, off the road leading to where I live. I then gave the plain material to my new tailor and he made it for me in just 1 week.
‎For the high-top shoes, I bought them as a gift for myself on my birthday. I got them at Ibom Plaza.

✅ What is the value of this outfit? Show us its value in your country's currency and in STEEM currency.

‎My outfit isn't that expensive. Everything I'm putting on is local, right from the shirt to my trousers, except for the high-top sneakers.

The glasses were 3,000 naira only, which makes it 60 STEEM according to today's market.

The shirt was 10,000 naira only, which makes it 200 STEEM according to today's market.

The pants were 10,000 naira only, which is 200 STEEM according to today's market.

The boots were just 3,000 naira only, which is 60 STEEM according to today's market.

In total, my entire outfit cost 23,000 naira only, which is approximately 520 STEEM according to today's market.

‎I'm a very simple person. However, I like classic wear because they never go out of fashion or style. Have you seen how comfortable I am in my "Senator" outfit but still feeling myself?
‎I don't like wearing what is expensive and in vogue. I love when I can wear my clothes over and over again without going out of style. The model instinct inside of me won't let me go out of class. These clothes make me feel different. Whenever I buy a new cloth, I think it becomes priceless because of the comfort I derive from wearing it.

‎I would like to invite my friends to participate in the contest. They are: @julietbella @mercybliss @destinedhanik and @josepha
