Assalamu Alaikum friends, how are you all? Alhamdulillah, by Allah's endless mercy, I am also doing well. Friends, just like every day, today my day went quite well as well. I want to share with you a few moments after Maghrib prayer, so friends, let's start without further delay.

Dear friends, since it is the holy month of Ramadan, the time should be spent on good deeds rather than sinful activities. Keeping this in mind, after finishing my Maghrib prayer today, I thought of sitting in my room and reading a book. I had a book on the topic of repentance, so I started reading that book.

Friends, the name of the book is and the author is.I am sharing with you the main content of this book.

Book Name: Allah Loves the One Who Repents Author: Sheikh Khalid Al-Rashid ‎Translator: Zubair Rashid

Main Message ‎As human beings, none of us is above making mistakes. We constantly get involved in various small and big sins. But the only way to return to the path of light from the darkness of these sins is 'Tawbah' (repentance). This book by Sheikh Khalid Al-Rashid primarily reminds a believer of Allah's mercy and motivates them to sincerely repent from the heart.

Special Features of the Book ‎While reading this book, you will feel how merciful Allah is. It discusses:

  • Importance of Tawbah: Why it is essential for a person to repent.

  • Allah's boundless forgiveness: No matter how many sins one commits, the book emphasizes the message of hope that Allah's doors of mercy are always open.

  • Heart-touching descriptions: Sheikh Khalid Al-Rashid's way of speaking is emotional, and the same impression is found in the writing of this book. While reading it, the reader experiences a kind of spiritual transformation in the heart.

💭 Personal Opinion

The cover of the book is quite wonderful—just as a green sapling on dry soil signifies the existence of life, similarly, repentance brings back the vibrancy of faith in the heart of a sinful person. The translation is very simple and fluent, so anyone can easily grasp it.

"Indeed, Allah loves those who constantly repent." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 222)

The main teachings and important quotes of the book ‎

  1. No place for despair ‎One of the key messages of the book is—no matter how huge a sin is, Allah's mercy is even greater. ‎Quote: "If you think your sin is too big, know that your Lord is even more forgiving. Satan wants to make you despair, but Allah is calling you into the arms of His mercy."

  2. Repentance means a new beginning ‎Repentance is not just saying 'Astaghfirullah' with your mouth, but it is a complete transformation. ‎Teaching: True repentance is feeling remorse for past mistakes, abandoning them in the present, and firmly resolving not to commit them in the future. It's like rain in a dry desert, which brings dead hearts back to life.

  3. Allah awaits His servants ‎The book highlights a wonderful point that Allah is eagerly waiting for His servant to return. ‎Quote: "Just as a mother rejoices when she finds her lost child, Allah rejoices even more when any of His sinful servants repents and returns to Him."

  4. The Power to Turn Away from Sin
Sin pushes a person away from Allah and creates darkness in the heart. In this book, the Sheikh explains that if one repents, that darkness disappears and tranquility (Sakinah) descends upon the heart.

  5. Returning While Opportunity Exists
The book reminds us that we must return before time runs out.

Lesson: No one knows when death will come. Therefore, thoughts like "I will repent tomorrow" or "I will become good when I am older" are nothing but the deception of Satan.

A Small Practice (Essence of the Book):

Whenever you make a mistake, try to do two things immediately that the book repeatedly encourages:

1. Feel ashamed: Bring repentance to your heart. 2. Istighfar: Promptly seek forgiveness from Allah.

Before going to bed every night: Spend at least 5 minutes asking Allah for forgiveness for the mistakes of the day before sleeping. This keeps the heart pure.

Leaving sinful environments: It is necessary to distance yourself from friends or environments that push you towards sin for your repentance to be accepted.

Erasing sins through good deeds: If you make a mistake, immediately do a good deed. This reduces the impact of that sin in your record of deeds.

This book is not just for reading, but rather for seeing oneself in a mirror. It will teach you that:
Returning to Allah is not a defeat, rather it is the greatest victory of life.

Satan will make you despair by reminding you of your 'past', while Allah will call you by giving the opportunity to make your 'future' beautiful.

A prayer from the depths of the heart (in the light of the book):

If you wish, you can ask Allah for help in your daily worship or in quiet solitude with these words:

"O Merciful Allah! I have wronged my own self. The mountain of my sins may be very high, but Your ocean of mercy is even deeper. O Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful! I am ashamed and repentant for all the mistakes I have made that only You know. Today I have returned to Your court. Do not turn me away. Revive my heart with the light of faith and protect me from disobedience in the future. Ameen."

📜 A Final Advice (from the last page of a book)

The Sheikh says:

"When the Angel of Death comes, he will not look at your bank balance or degrees; he will look at how much love for Allah was stored in your heart and how much weeping there was for your mistakes. So return today, the time is now!"

Friends, I have shared with you the important advice from the book. I hope you will like it. So friends, after finishing reading the book, I offered the Isha prayer. Thank you all, stay well, stay healthy, Allah Hafiz.

Best Regards -@abdur-rohim
