Hello Steemians! Hope you all are doing well. Today I am going to share with you a very fun winter pitha recipe. The recipe is Dudh Chitai Pitha. So, without further delay, let’s get started.

Explanation of My Recipe

🔹Step I

First, to make this pitha, I prepared the chitai pithas. I mixed rice flour with water and then poured the batter onto a hot pan to make the chitai pithas in this way.

I broke the coconut and grated it finely using a coconut grater.

Then I took the required amount of milk and boiled it on the stove. I added bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom to the milk. These are used for aroma. When the milk was well boiled, I added sugar according to taste and a pinch of salt to balance the flavor.

After that, I added the finely grated coconut to the milk. Adding this doubles the taste.

I mixed date palm jaggery with water and boiled it to make a liquid syrup. When this mixture cooled down, I added it to the milk. This gives the milk a beautiful color.

After the milk was fully processed, I added the prepared chitai pithas into the milk mixture. Then I soaked them like this for a few hours. The pithas absorb the milk, become soft and fluffy, and taste absolutely delicious.
