So, in this post I am going to share my full day routine ( 16/ 08 /2025 ) . I hope you people like and enjoy my post

Today the day has come for which everyone was eagerly waiting, the day of birth of Lord Krishna. On the festival of Janmashtami, all the temples of Lord Krishna are decorated, tableaus are set up, Lord Krishna is worshipped in every house. Everyone observes fast, and breaks their fast only after celebrating his birth at 12:00 in the night.

We eat fruits during the day and vegetarian food at night. Offer as much as you want to Lord Krishna, God is hungry for love. For Lord Krishna's bhog, we make Ramdana barfi, khoya peda, chanavrat by mixing milk and curd, dry fruits, buckwheat panjiri etc. and offer fruits and Tulsi ji as bhog.

There was work at the shop so my husband left early today, my son also left. I was fasting, I quickly cooked food for my husband and children. I gave food to the children and I also took the tiffin and quickly went to the shop. I also took my son's food to the shop, then from there I went with my son to buy clothes for Lord Krishna. I brought the flute, crown etc. and came home. There were very beautiful swings and thrones of the Lord.

I reached home by 2:00 pm today, because I had to decorate the temple at home and also prepare the prasad. First of all, I went home and decorated the temple, put up lights, decorated the temple with a dupatta. I am not able to decorate much because I do not have time. After doing all this, I started preparing the prasad. It was 5:00 pm while preparing the prasad but all the work was completed on time. Then I made tea, we all drank tea, the children took bread butter with tea.

After that I started preparing dinner. For dinner, I prepared buckwheat puri, sour potato curry and makhana kheer. When I got free, I had to go to my brother-in-law's house too, he had invited me. Very beautiful tableaus are decorated there too, so I went to his house. A very beautiful temple was decorated. Their prasad was also ready. I returned from there after 1 hour, then I started arranging plates.

Washed flowers and fruits and kept them in front of the temple. By then, my husband came home at 9:30, he was refusing to eat food saying that he will eat only at 12:00 in the night. I said no, you and the children should eat food and rest, when the puja will be done, he will join the puja and after that I will be free and only I will have to eat comfortably. It was 11:30 by the time I fed everyone.

I quickly took a bath and got ready and then started singing bhajans and kirtans of God. As soon as the clock struck 12:00, the sound of crackers started coming from all around, Lord Krishna was born. There was sound of blowing of conches and ringing of bells everywhere. I bathed Bhagwan Ji, then dressed him, made him sit on the throne, offered him bhog, did aarti. Then gave prasad to everyone, after eating prasad my husband slept and then I sat with my food. It was 1:00 while I was eating comfortably.

Then I came back after cleaning the kitchen, the kids were awake. I told them to sleep it was getting late, then I too went to sleep early and the kids too slept. In this way the birth celebration of Lord Krishna was a very beautiful and memorable one.
