Betterlife with steem || The Diary Game || Date: March 17, 2026 || I am sharing with you the diary game tour of romantic moments.
Dear Steemian Friends,
I’m @azit1980

I hope everyone is well. I am starting today's romantic diary game with love and respect for you, and everyone is enjoying a very beautiful life.
Today is a special day for my family; my family has been celebrating this day for the past two to two and a half years. It is a vegetarian day; every Tuesday we cook vegetarian food in our family. I am not very knowledgeable about religion. Still, one day I asked my wife why we cook vegetarian food on this day? She told me that on this day, one of our gods was born. Vegetarianism is celebrated on this day in his honor. Vegetarianism has been going on for almost three years now. Today we have a vegetarian lunch. On the day when vegetarian food is cooked, three or four items are cooked. Today, the item was Dharana. First, tomato chutney, dal with gourd, broth with data and potatoes, and dal bora. Today, the arrangements were quite good, and it was a lot of fun to eat. Now I have become accustomed to eating vegetarian food.
Today our office was closed for another special day, that is Shab-e-Qadr, a special day for Muslims. On this day, the Holy Quran of Muslims was revealed. Based on that, this day is celebrated. So, our office was closed, and on this day of closure, we went to the riverbank. Today, the river was very calm. The holy Eid holiday has not yet started, so there is no rush of passengers on the launch. A launch is going from Dhaka Sadarghat to Barisal, but there is no rush of passengers on the launch. In other words, the entire launch was empty. Heavy vehicles are closed three to four days before Eid. Today, when I went to the river pier, I saw many freight steamers and ships anchored on the riverbank due to the closure. I took a picture of this scene.
While walking along the riverbank, I saw a fire burning under the roots of a huge banyan tree. I stood there for a long time. A lot of dry garbage had been left, and it had been set on fire. But I felt a little sad because it was not right to set fire under the roots of a tree. We will also be deprived of the trees from which we get oxygen, and the old trees on the banks of the river, where our people who come to visit the riverbank get some shade from the scorching sun. This is completely inhumane and anti-environmental. This scene saddens me.
Once upon a time, the river was never calm at this time of evening, because since the construction of the Padma Bridge, the largest bridge in Bangladesh, the number of launches, steamers, and ships that used to ply this river has decreased comparatively. Now, launches do not ply like that anymore. We used to come here in the afternoon just to watch the launches. Now, launches do not ply like before. People now travel by bypass instead of going to the river. They can travel in less time. That's why the Buriganga River is very calm at this time.
In Pagla Bazar, there are many people from our Hindu community who can make gods and goddesses and dolls out of clay. Those who do this kind of work are called potters; they are mainly from the Kumara clan. They make gods and goddesses out of clay in such a way that they look like living creatures. Their work is so perfect. I didn't know this kind of work was done here before. They make these kinds of gods and goddesses in a specific place outside the market. There is a lot of demand for these during our Puja festivals. A few days later, there is a special puja, on the occasion of the arrival of that puja, the gods and goddesses are created. I was mesmerized by seeing these. Because I had not seen them directly, I saw them today, and with their permission, I captured two pictures on my mobile.
